The correct number of beds with all duvets, pillows and bed linen plus a pump just in case for the single airbeds
Extra blankets or hot water bottles depending on the weather
A double ring gas hob. (Gas is available at £15 per cylinder for a two night stay, £20 for three nights)
Washing up bowl, tea towels, eco bin bag
2 x saucepans, 1 x frying pan, 1 x kettle, chopping board, tray
Cutlery, plates, bowls, mugs and other essential kitchen utensils
LED lamp and lights around the centre pole (with batteries)
BBQ with basic utensils (charcoal not provided but usually available to buy from the shop on site or from Hockering shop 2.5K away)
Cool box with ice packs replenished each morning
Box for footwear
Bed side table, storage box, chair – all depends on how many beds are requested
Fire blanket
A file with emergency numbers, info re rubbish and recycling, local info and T’s & C’s etc

Additional bin bags?
Tennis racquets & balls if you wish to hire the estate tennis court
Additional Cool box with spare ice blocks which we are happy to refreeze for you over night if named
Drinking water unless you wish to purchase it from the honesty shop. There is no supply of drinking water to the meadow but the water is fine to drink if boiled for hot drinks and to cook with.

You may well be the only ones staying on your chosen night(s) but if not there will be a luggage label tied to the outside of each tent, one will have your name on. Alternatively, if we know your expected arrival and are here, we will meet and greet you ourselves when possible.

Arrival is from 2.30pm and departure is 10.00am unless otherwise agreed.

The essentials! Wood, Charcoal, firelighters, marshmallows, bottles of water, hand warmers, bamboo sticks.
The Hockering Village shop has lots of supplies and is just 1 mile away next to the petrol station. The Goat shed is a large farm shop 10 mins away which stocks everything from meat & cheese to gin and beer!

Candles/ jars / clothes pegs for your use
Wine glasses but please be careful with glass in the meadow and notify us immediately if there are any breakages
Guest book which we would love you to sign before leaving Two charging points powered by the solar panel on the roof

Feel free to drive onto Gorsey Meadow to unload your gear, then please park your car on the Gorsey Meadow car park in the woods back down the drive. For safety we like to keep Gorsey Meadow as car free as possible. The car park area is a two minute walk from the meadow.

There is a big log pile and wheel barrow in the meadow. Wood is £10 per fire per barrow/fire to be placed in the safety deposit box in ‘the Shed’. Please do not bring your own wood.

In the meadow yes if cigarette butts are cleared up and disposed of. Absolutely no smoking in or near the tents or facilities.

Quiet music or acoustic music is permitted until 10.00pm. Please be considerate of those living close to the meadow. No recorded music please.

We do not have access to drinking water on the site therefore we suggest you bring some with you. However, you can also buy it from the honesty Shop. Our water is fine to use when boiled such as for pasta.

We try to recycle as much as possible and therefore ask that you please divide your rubbish accordingly. Please separate into Glass, Compost, General (in tied bin liners), Recyclable (paper, card, plastics and rinsed tins). We make a £50 charge for rubbish that is not separated, deducted from your damage deposit.

The meadow is off grid and therefore there are no electrical hook-ups but we do have a solar panel with two charging points for electronic devices.

If for any reason you can no longer stay with us within four weeks of your booking we will refund you IF your tent is re booked.
