    Drinking water unless you wish to purchase it from the honesty shop. There is no supply of drinking water to the meadow but the water is fine to drink if boiled for hot drinks and to cook with.

  • Arrival is from 2.30pm and departure is 10.00am unless otherwise agreed but we can usually be flexible as we want you to make the mot of your stay.

  • Feel free to drive onto Gorsey Meadow to unload your gear, then please park your car on the Gorsey Meadow car park in the woods back down the drive. For safety we like to keep Gorsey Meadow as car free as possible. The car park area is a two minute walk from the meadow.

  • There is a big log pile and wheel barrow in the meadow. Wood is £10 per fire per barrow/fire to be placed in the safety deposit box in ‘the Shed’. Please do not bring your own wood.

  • In the meadow yes if cigarette butts are cleared up and disposed of. Absolutely no smoking in or near the tents or facilities.

  • Quiet music or acoustic music is permitted until 10.00pm. Please be considerate of those living close to the meadow. No speakers please.

  • We do not have access to drinking water on the site therefore we suggest you bring some with you. However, you can usually buy it from the honesty Shed, we do our best to keep some available. Our water is fine to use when boiled such as for pasta.

  • We ask you to take away all rubbish if possible. There is a bottle bank at the playing field in the village as you leave the meadow.

    We have a compost only bin in the meadow for your use.

    On some occasions we may be able to assist with some rubbish disposal. Please talk to us on an individual booking basis.

  • The meadow is off grid and therefore there are no electrical hook-ups but we do have a solar panel with a charging point for electronic devices. We hope you don’t need them!

  • Please give us a minimum of two weeks notice if cancelling your stay. No refunds will be given within two weeks of your stay.
